Character, Class, & Satisfaction
This century home was a pleasure to work on. The Clients wanted the space to reflect the character of the house with a modern touch.
The Lowdown:
Clad with reclaimed brick, this project speaks to the yellow brick of the home’s exterior. We decided to expose the granite stone foundation to showcase the timeless strength of the structure.
The Fireplace wall was built to maximize space and include a bar area.
The hemlock stair treads, repurposed floor boards from a local barn demolition, adds a rustic touch. Furnished with a few key pieces, this room quickly transforms from a cozy basement into a great creative space for business seminars or meals with the extended family.

Client Review:
“Chris really understood the unique dream we had for our basement - a relaxing space to enjoy movies and time with the family, as well as a venue to host personal and professional development seminars. He had great insights into how to make our space, we were extremely impressed with the quality of his work, and he was a pleasure to have in our home.
